The good folks at Theme Park Review bring us video of another phony far-east Disneyland ripoff from Nara Dreamland in Nara, Japan. Check out the cheesy Train Depot, Main Street USA, Matterhorn coaster and Castle hub. Nara Dreamland closed permanently on August 31st, 2006.

Here’s some vintage home movie clips from Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The footage was compiled from two trips in the late-60’s and early-70’s. Includes some great scenes of the Peoplemover and original Submarine Ride. Run time is almost 7 minutes.

Here’s a great video tour of the original Future World pavilions at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT Center in Orlando, Florida. Includes footage of Spaceship Earth, Universe Of Energy, Wonders Of Life, Horizons, World Of Motion, Journey Into Imagination, Communicore, The Land and The Living Seas. Run time is 5 minutes.

Here’s a silent 8mm movie of Disneyland in Anaheim, California. It was filmed back in 1968. Includes footage of many rides and attractions that are no longer around. There are some great shots of Frontierland. Run time is almost 4 minutes.

Here’s a movie of the old Battlestar Galactica attraction at Universal Studios in California. “The Battle Of Galactica” was part of the Backlot Tour from 1979 to 1992. The video includes some behind-the-scenes footage. Run time is about 3:30 minutes.
